Grilled Pork Chops

Juicy and flavorful grilled pork chops marinated to perfection.

Creamy Garlic Mushroom Pasta

Ingredients

  • 4 thick pork chops
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (smashed)
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, smashed garlic, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning to create the marinade.
  2. Mix the marinade until it reaches a thick consistency, then place the pork chops into a zip-top bag and pour the marinade over them.
  3. Seal the bag, removing as much air as possible, and massage the marinade into the pork chops. Let them marinate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  4. Prepare your grill by heating it and ensuring it’s clean. Set up the grill for direct heat.
  5. Remove the pork chops from the marinade and allow excess marinade to drip off. Discard the leftover marinade.
  6. Place pork chops on the grill over direct heat for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side until nice grill marks form.
  7. Move the pork chops to the indirect heat side to cook through, aiming for an internal temperature of 145°F.
  8. Let the pork chops rest for about 15 minutes before slicing.
